Readlein - Fast & Pure Ghost Theme

 Live Preview
Readlein - Fast, pure, beautiful & mobile

I made this theme for my personal blog. I had some clear goals in mind, that no theme so far had addressed to my satisfaction. I wanted my blog to be seriously fast and really mobile first. So I (again) had to make my own theme. And this is it.
It scores 99/100 in the Google Developer Speed Test (I could have 100/100, but for that I would have to minify the HTML, what would create some difficulties in modifying the theme, so I didn't do that. But it is easy if you want to do it yourself.). Everything is optimised to not block rendering of the webpage.
It is pure and minimal, heavily optimised for mobile usage. No decoration, no clutter. Its a delightful reading experience, as fast and clear as possible.
A more detailed description of my thoughts and reasons behind creating this theme check out my blog post on it: http://www.svenread.com/readlein-ghost-theme/
